Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Attendant to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across building systems and equipment. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to address issues with electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical components.
- Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and building interior features through troubleshooting and repairs.
- Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and schematics to diagnose complex system malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Lead maintenance painting projects such as residential painting or facility touch-ups to uphold the aesthetic standards of the environment.
- Operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks.
- Supervise or assist with the work of other maintenance team members while ensuring safety protocols are followed during all repair activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or staff members.
- Support facilities maintenance operations by managing plumbing repairs, electrical work, HVAC system repairs, carpentry projects, and general building interior upkeep.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), ideally within manufacturing or facilities management environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of electrical work including electrical equipment repair and electrical system troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
- Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as HVAC system troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical wiring, mechanical systems, plumbing layouts, and HVAC controls.
- Experience with welding techniques for metal repairs or fabrication tasks.
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively along with specialized equipment such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and meters like ohmmeters.
- Supervising experience is preferred to coordinate team efforts during complex projects or emergency repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues quickly and implement solutions efficiently.
- Proficiency in English for clear communication across team members and documentation purposes.
