New Haven Home Health Services, Inc. is a Medicare certified agency providing skilled home health services to patients at home. We have an immediate opening for a per diem Physical Therapist Assistant with at least one year of experience as a PTA in a health care setting.
Requirements for Physical Therapist Assistant:
· PTA must have a current California Physical Therapy Assistant license
· home health care experience a plus
· willing to visit patients in San Francisco or San Mateo County
The applicant must be a graduate from an accredited two year Physical Therapist Assistant Program, passed the national physical therapist assistant examination and an examination on the laws and regulations governing the practice of physical therapy in California.
Preferred Skills for Physical Therapist Assistant:
· PTA must have excellent oral and written communication skills
· ability to interact effectively with all staff, patients, families and members of the health team
· effective problem-solving and good analytical skills
· organized, resourceful, dependable and detail oriented
· working knowledge of computer programs: Word and data entry.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $117,000.00 - $124,800.00 per year
