Job Description:
-
Participates in corporate, division, and region level strategic planning for all assigned areas.
-
Oversees strategy and operational planning for Nurse Retention Strategy, Clinical Models, and Unit Culture.
-
Operationalizes readiness and change management efforts for the Electronic Medical Record implementation across Clinical Services.
-
Leads consultation efforts for Surgical New Builds, including operational plan design, development, resourcing, and opening.
-
Collaborates with Nursing and other ancillary departments to manage and optimize patient care. Develops and implements initiatives, processes, and goals that align with campus strategies while supporting corporate system initiatives.

Monitors relevant outcomes and suggests process changes to ensure departments provide appropriate services for all stakeholders.
-
Works closely with system and campus executives to craft and disseminate messages to ensure employee understanding and engagement.

Promotes a safe environment for all stakeholders.
-
Assures compliance and provides evidence of performance with accreditation bodies and other regulatory requirements for assigned areas.

Leads Nurse Retention, Clinical Models, Unit Culture, Epic Operations Change Management, and Surgical New Builds policy formulation and decision-making.

Prepares, executes, and monitors departmental operating budgets to ensure appropriate staffing, professional development, space, supplies, and equipment.
