A Springfield home manufacturing company is looking for accounting assistant. Must be able to maintain accurate accounting records and enter financial transactions, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, Process invoices, payments, and bank deposits, reconcile accounts, statements, and supporting documentation, track vendor records and required tax documentation maintain asset and property tracking records, monitor purchase orders and support documentation, support job costing and financial tracking for projects, maintain financial documentation and filing systems, assist in preparation for internal and external audits, maintain organized financial documentation and supporting schedules, help ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements, support monitoring and documentation of internal controls, assist in year-end close preparation and documentation management
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting required
- Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting support preferred
- Experience supporting audits or month-end processes preferred
