Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary tests, including visual acuity, tonometry, and retinal imaging
- Take patient histories and document findings
- Educate patients on eye care and contact lens options
- Manage inventory and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a medical office setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficient with computer systems and electronic medical records
