Custodial Services at the University of Tennessee at Martin is currently accepting applications for a custodian. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM but shift subject to change (40 hours per week). This is a full-time position with benefits
Minimum Qualifications:
- Typically requires high school diploma or the equivalent.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively; able to interact positively with co-workers.
- Physical condition conducive to performance of labor tasks (this includes bending, reaching overhead, lifting as much as 50 pounds, stooping, climbing ladders to height of twenty feet, operating power washer, buffers, vacuums, shampoo machines and scrubbers).
- Must have good work and attendance record.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge of custodial equipment, to include operation and safety.
- Experience and knowledge in the use and safety of cleaning chemicals.
