Job Summary: The Painter III performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include painting and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes. Provides indirect guidance and project specific management to others. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment. Minimum Experience Required: - Six (6) Years Commercial Painting and Building Service Systems experience is required. - Plus, two (2) Years Healthcare experience is required. - Ability to work various work shifts and/or weekends as needed. - Ability to travel between other Moffitt Cancer Center facilities - Evidence of a good driving record and maintain a good record per Moffitt policy Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required: - Customer service skills - Written and verbal communication skills - Interpersonal skills - Delegation skills - Work independently - Work with a team - Critical thinking skills - Organizational skills - Computer skills appropriate to position Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position - Management skills - Mathematical skills Preferred Experience: One (1) Year of supervisory or project lead experience. Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
