LOOKING FOR: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Qualifications:
- Strong Aptitude to address and complete Complex Maintenance and repairs of industrial equipment/machinery
- Ability to properly diagnose, repair, AND verify repairs of industrial equipment/machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in faced paced environment, handle distractions and interruptions without losing focus on primary goals and projects.
- Maintain and manage repair and project priorities to maximize operational efficiency.
- Problem solving skills
- VERY Strong overall mechanical aptitude
Experience:
- Min. 5 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and procedures, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of compressed air systems
- Understanding of basic heating, plumbing, and building maintenance repairs
- Basic computer skills
- PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect facilities, prioritizes necessary repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment in the manufacturing facility.
- Perform monthly safety inspections and record keeping.
- Reviews OEM manuals for recommendations of preventative maintenance and implement.
- Read work orders and specification to determine machines and equipment requiring repair.
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to OEM specification.
- Complete maintenance tasks from start to finish in a timely manner.
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, parts, and equipment.
- Operate drills, saws, and other small tools as required.
- Carry out various clerical or janitorial duties.
- Must follow all safety rules by always keeping work area clean and safe from hazards.
- Update and communicate with production and supervisory team’s information on repairs
- Forklift and Scissor-Lift certification or the ability to obtain certification
