Who We Are:
The Local Butcher Shop is an award-winning, whole-animal craft butchery located in North Berkeley. We source directly from local, sustainable ranches and farms, and we use the entire animal to create a wide variety of house-made products. We are also a worker-owned cooperative, with ownership opportunities available after one year of service. Our butchers are a dynamic, detail-oriented group of craftspersons who value customer relationships, teamwork, and continual learning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop monthly Profit and Loss (P&L)
- Export and refister Shopify sales into QBonline.
- Transfer COGS between departments.
- Implement accurate expense tracking for various activities, including public relations, wholesale invoicing, and purchases.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QB) software is a must.
- A willingness to learn about our industry.
- A quick learning ability and attention to detail.
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $29 per hour
- One complimentary lunch per in office day
- Hybrid work schedule: 20 hours per week, with in-shop time (two days in person, three days home office)
