We are seeking an energetic and experienced server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all serving areas, including food handling and kitchen support when needed
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting host/hostess duties during busy periods
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff
Skills
- Proven experience as a server in fine dining or high-volume food service environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales and enhance guest experiences
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus
- Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience working in nightclubs or fast-paced restaurant settings is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
