MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Summary
The Manufacturing Manager will plan, lead, develop, and continuously improve skilled production machining and fabrication operations. This role is ideal for a technically capable, hands-on leader who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, developing people, and being trusted to run the department with accountability and good judgment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Steward a safe working environment that drives and sustains safety in all areas.
· Ensure the highest levels of product quality and compliance to the AS9100 Rev. D standard.
· Participate in daily and weekly production scheduling by providing feedback on feasibility and capacity, while driving performance toward established OTD and OEE targets.
· Supervise assignments, organization, priorities for a team of approximately 15-20 employees.
· Collaborate with machinists, programmers, engineering, quality, and other resources to improve CNC programming, setup, tooling, scheduling optimization, process capability, and implementation of new technologies.
· Represent machining in advanced manufacturing discussions to ensure manufacturability, efficiency, and continuous improvement on new products and process improvements.
· Develop employees through coaching, training, clear expectations, accountability, and career growth from within the organization.
· Serve as a hands-on leader who can support short-term production needs while driving long-term solutions, standard work, and sustainable process improvement.
Additional Requirements
· Ability to read drawings, blueprints and GD&T requirements.
· Experience with Microsoft Office products.
· Experience withing a Quality Management System, preferably AS9100, ISO 9001.
· Hands-on experience with Mazatrol, G-Code, and MazCam GeoPath, ESPRIT is a plus.
Leadership Responsibilities
Responsibilities include: planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing concerns; administering company policy; and building a strong, engaged team. This leader is expected and empowered to solve problems, take corrective action, escalate risks appropriately. With demonstrated success, the role is intended to expand to include cross-functional reporting and broader value stream accountability across machining, quality, planning, and operations.
Education and/or Experience
· Associate degree in a manufacturing-related field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant machining experience, is required.
· 5+ years of managerial experience leading change.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical manufacturing knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to lead in a dynamic environment. Candidates should be comfortable balancing hands-on shop floor support with long-term process improvement, while contributing to a family-owned company culture built on trust, respect, accountability, and pride in doing high-quality work.
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
