Job Summary:We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Cashier/Stocker to join our team. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing sales, stocking merchandise, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Accurately operate the cash register and process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise.
- Rotate products and monitor expiration dates.
- Keep shelves neat, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering questions.
- Maintain a clean sales floor, restrooms, and work areas.
- Sweep, mop, and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Replenish ice, drinks, snacks, and other merchandise as needed.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
This position requires flexibility and a team-oriented attitude. Employees must be willing to perform any store-related task assigned by management and assist in all areas of the business when needed to support daily operations.
