Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including updating medical histories using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits.
- Assist providers during surgery.
- Support patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing compassionate service throughout their visit.
- Manage medical documentation accurately, including progress notes, ICD coding for diagnoses, and maintaining detailed medical records.
- Assist with medical office management tasks like scheduling appointments, managing EMR/EHR systems, and coordinating referrals or follow-up care.
- Willing to help the front office when assistance is needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with a strong background in outpatient clinics
- If no experience. We are looking for someone with the ability to learn and grow knowledge.
- Knowledge of dermatology or medical-surgical practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and proficiency in medical documentation and terminology.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically across diverse populations.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as outpatient clinics while maintaining attention to detail and a professional attitude.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
