Duties
- Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring timely delivery.
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness in all service areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing of workspaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with servers, cooks, and management to coordinate order delivery and guest needs.
- Manage takeout orders and coordinate with hosts to ensure the orders go to the right people.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; familiarity with food handling and preparation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent in-person customer service.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Demonstrated teamwork skills in fast-paced hospitality settings.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts.
