We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Stretch Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will be dedicated to enhancing clients’ physical health, flexibility, and overall well-being through personalized stretching techniques. Your expertise will help clients achieve pain relief, improve mobility, and prevent injuries while providing an exceptional patient experience. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, limitations, and goals
- Develop customized stretching plans tailored to each client’s physiology and health conditions
- Perform deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and pain
- Guide clients through safe, effective stretching routines to improve flexibility and mobility
- Educate clients on occupational health practices and injury prevention strategies
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly for optimal results
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient feedback, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic stretching
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills
- Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Ability to assess patient conditions accurately and develop appropriate treatment strategies
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa environments is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills to educate and motivate clients effectively
- Prior experience in medical or wellness settings, especially within med spas or similar environments, is highly desirable
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
