Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista Cashier to join our vibrant café team! In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service while preparing and serving a variety of non-alcoholic beverages and food items. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, taking their orders with enthusiasm and accuracy.
- Prepare a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and food safety standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales swiftly and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision while processing transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, beverage stations, and dining spaces, adhering to food handling and safety protocols.
- Restock supplies as needed, ensuring all ingredients and products are fresh and available for service.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, managing complaints professionally, and creating a positive experience for every guest.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or café experience is preferred; familiarity with food industry standards is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Time management skills to ensure timely beverage preparation and customer service.
