Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual tax returns with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
- Work on complex tax cases, including multi-entity and multi-state filings, with exposure to tax resolution strategies.
- Provide thoughtful, informed tax guidance tailored to each client’s specific financial and business situation.
- Stay up to date on evolving tax regulations to ensure compliance and identify new planning opportunities.
- Build long-term client relationships through consistent communication, reliability, and professionalism.

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year or 2 seasons of experience in tax preparation.
- Solid understanding of individual and corporate (preferred) tax laws. Experience with more complex returns is a strong plus.
- Active CTEC certification or EA license, valid PTIN, and current CTEC registration required.
- Proficiency with tax software (ProSeries experience preferred).
- Strong 10-key typing and high-volume data entry skills.
- Capable of breaking down complex tax scenarios and providing practical, strategic solutions.
- Clear, client-friendly communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-sufficient, yet able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Comfortable with client outreach and engagement, with an understanding of how to present financial service offerings.
