Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the early childhood education setting.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized support and early intervention when needed.
- Maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials for daily activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual children and differentiate instruction accordingly.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support children with special needs or developmental delays.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
- Physical education background is a plus.
