Part-Time Dog Groomer
Join our luxury, cage-free salon where Fear Free principles guide every grooming experience. We’re looking for an experienced, compassionate groomer who values quality, patience, and individualized care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional dog grooming experience
- Fear Free Certified or willing to complete Fear Free Certification within 3 months of hire
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confident performing breed-specific haircuts, bathing, drying, de-shedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, brush-outs, and sanitary trims
- Ability to safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Ability to educate pet parents on grooming services, products, and coat care
- Experience maintaining accurate grooming records and client notes
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to clarify grooming instructions, discuss concerns, and notify them when their pet is ready for pickup
- Complete all grooming appointments on schedule while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain detailed grooming records, including pet habits, sensitivities, and client preferences
- Ensure the safety and comfort of every pet through proper handling and Fear Free techniques
- Communicate with clients through our scheduling system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized grooming environment
- Clean, sanitize, maintain, and properly store grooming tools and equipment
- Maintain confidentiality regarding The Emerald Paw’s clients and business practices
Pay: $22,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
