Position Summary: Sun Medical Supplies is a full-service medical equipment provider. We carry a full line of medical equipment and supplies along with professional healthcare products. Sun Medical Supplies has an immediate opening for a Patient Service Technician. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of medical equipment to home health, nursing facilities, medical providers, and patients. This position is also responsible for maintaining the warehouse, medical equipment, and retail stocking. Must have delivery and customer service experience. Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred. DME experience preferred.
Job duties, include, but not limited to:
- Select appropriate equipment for customers from warehouse
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Safely operate company vehicle in all conditions
- Follow company delivery route and ensure maximum of efficiency of delivery route
- Deliver, set up, and educate customers on medical equipment use
- Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers and maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse
- Clean and maintain company vehicle and delivery tools
- Clean medical equipment
- Clean office facilities
- Assemble and prepare medical equipment for delivery and customer pickup
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse
- Other job tasks, as necessary
Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Must have valid CA driver’s license and a clean driving record
Required Skills:
- Must have delivery and customer service experience
- Must have the highest level of customer service and compassion
- Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Basic computer skills
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and pay attention to details
- Ability to read and write and speak English effectively
Physical Requirements:
The employee will be required to sit, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds.
