Join our team in Staatsburg, NY, and make a meaningful impact in the field of autism and behavioral services. We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our mission of providing exceptional care and intervention for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.
- Maintain knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.
- Assist with conducting assessments, including VB-MAPP, skill acquisition assessments (e.g., AFLS), maladaptive behavior assessments, and preference assessments.
- Support the development and training of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.
- Maintain effective data collection systems, including data analysis and data-based decision making.
- Provide ongoing training and clear communication to program staff regarding individual goals, interventions, and behavioral supports.
- Promote open and effective communication to support collaboration across teams.
- Develop participant- and program-specific reports and documentation.
- Participate in training initiatives and professional development activities.
- Complete other related duties as assigned by Behavioral Services and Education Administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related human services field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred, but not required.
- Interest in pursuing career development in ABA required; must be enrolled in or plan to enroll in a master’s-level ABA program within six months of hire.
