Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle concerns accurately and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filters, spark plugs, fluid services, and preventative maintenance
- Perform repairs including brakes, suspension, alternators, A/C systems, batteries, and other mechanical components
- Follow manufacturer service procedures and repair standards
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify potential vehicle issues
- Conduct detailed multipoint vehicle inspections
- Inspect and verify proper operation of vehicle safety systems and components
- Test drive vehicles when necessary to verify concerns and confirm repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members
- Safely lift and handle tools, equipment, and vehicle components as needed
- Operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles when required
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with automotive engine system repair, powertrain, and vehicle maintenance expertise.
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics using standard diagnostic tools and hand tools; able to perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs.
- Experience with GM, FORD, Stellantis, Mercedes Benz Vans, Trucks, SUV's and general passenger car operations; comfortable working with schematics and ADAS considerations.
- Prior dealership or professional repair environment preferred; excellent customer communication and service skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
