Attentive Care is a licensed home health care agency dedicated to helping clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. We provide compassionate in-home nursing and caregiver services, including Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs), across the Capital Region of New York.
As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily living needs and fostering their well-being and independence. You will be part of a collaborative care team, delivering personalized assistance and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for those you serve.
Key responsibilities include:

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks

Provide companionship and safety supervision to clients

Run errands and assist with transportation as needed

Document care provided and communicate changes in client status to the care team
Requirements
Required Qualifications:

Recent experience working through a licensed home care agency
-
Fluent English communication skills (read, write, and speak)

Authorized to work in the United States
-
Reliable transportation to client homes throughout the service area
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience providing in-home assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care

Ability to follow care plans and basic infection-control practices

Experience communicating client status changes to a care team

Valid NYS PCA certificate verifiable on the NYS Home Care Registry

Bilingual skills in languages commonly used by clients

Ability to travel to client homes throughout the service area

Willingness and ability to drive/transport clients as part of assignments

Availability for days, evenings, overnight, and weekend shifts
