Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
Senior technical leader responsible for supervising multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering high-quality BIM/VDC-enabled design and construction coordination. This role drives Revit and Navisworks workflows, oversees model quality and clash resolution, manages schedule integration (CPM and production schedules), and ensures constructability and compliance across electrical and broader engineering scopes. The Sr. Supervising Lead Engineer serves as the primary technical liaison to project stakeholders, mentors staff, and enforces quality control to meet program milestones and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise engineering and BIM/VDC teams to deliver coordinated design and construction models using Revit and Navisworks.

Oversee model development, standards, and quality control processes to ensure accurate, constructible deliverables.

Perform clash detection, resolution workflows, and coordination sessions; manage model-integrated issue tracking until closure.

Develop, maintain, and integrate CPM schedules and production schedules with design and construction activities to support milestone tracking and resource planning.

Coordinate electrical engineering inputs and interface requirements with other trades; review engineering drawings and model elements for constructability.

Manage project documentation and team collaboration tools, including SmartSheet for task tracking, schedule updates, and reporting.

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues, evaluate change impacts, and implement mitigation plans.

Prepare and present technical summaries, coordination reports, and model deliverables to clients and internal leadership.

Mentor and develop engineering staff, establish best practices, and promote continuous improvement in BIM/VDC processes.

Enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards across engineering deliverables and construction coordination activities.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or related discipline; advanced degree or professional licensure (PE) preferred.

8+ years of engineering experience with at least 3+ years leading teams in BIM/VDC or similar technical leadership roles.

Demonstrated proficiency with Revit and Navisworks for modeling, clash detection, and coordination (required).

Experienced with BIM and VDC workflows, model standards, and coordination best practices (nice to have).

Familiarity with electrical engineering design principles and integration with multidisciplinary models (nice to have).

Proven experience creating and managing CPM schedules and production schedules; ability to align schedules with model coordination (nice to have).

Strong quality control background with experience enforcing model and drawing QA/QC processes (nice to have).
