Travel/Contract Special Education Teacher – Elementary School in Sandown, NH

Sevn Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher for a full time travel/local contract in Sandown, NH through the end of the school year, with strong potential for extension into the following school year.

Position Details:
Location: Sandown, NH
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Contract Duration: Through the end of the school year with high potential to extend for the 2026/2027 School Year
Travel Pay Package: $2,000 – $2,200 per week
Estimated take home pay will be equivalent to the take home pay of around $65–$76 per hour in New Hampshire!
Must reside 50 miles or more from the district to qualify.
Local Pay Package: $48 – $52 per hour depending on experience

Job Details and Caseload:
- Manage a caseload of Intensive Needs Elementary students
- Provide full case management through the end of the school year
- Deliver direct instruction to assigned students
- Collaborate with staff to support student success across academic and functional areas
- Strong opportunity to return for the following school year if it is a good fit
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction based on student needs
- Manage and maintain IEP compliance for assigned caseload
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with team members and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support students in both academic and functional/emotional development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education required
- Active (or eligibility to obtain) New Hampshire Special Education certification required
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
