Custom Home Builder Carpenter
Position Summary
3+ YEARS ARE MANDATORY IN CONSTRUCTION FIELD. DRIVERS LICENSE MANDATORY.
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our custom home building team. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry duties involved in the construction of high-quality custom homes. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works well independently and with a team, and maintains a strong attention to detail throughout all phases of construction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform residential framing, trim work, blocking, siding, decking, and general carpentry tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, and interior/exterior finishes
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure schedules and quality standards are met
- Identify and communicate construction issues or potential delays promptly
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, building codes, and safety requirements
- Perform punch list and warranty work as needed
Qualifications
- Previous residential carpentry or construction experience required
- Experience in custom home construction preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions

Work Environment
- Primarily outdoor construction sites
- Exposure to varying weather conditions
- Frequent standing, climbing, lifting, bending, and kneeling
