Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing) – Northeast Iowa
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment located in Northeast Iowa.
This role is responsible for planning, procurement, inventory control, and logistics, ensuring operational efficiency and supporting production goals. You will play a key role in optimizing inventory, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement across the operation.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand
- Monitor forecasts and supply chain metrics to identify risks and opportunities
- Achieve monthly inventory targets across raw materials (RAW), work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods (FG)
- Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts and accuracy reporting
- Track and report key operational KPIs such as shipments, production output, and scrap
- Manage shipping, receiving, and transportation strategies to optimize cost and efficiency
- Lead purchasing activities, including sourcing and international procurement
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and logistics partners
- Ensure raw material availability to support uninterrupted production
- Optimize warehouse and material flow strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally, including with IT and operations teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in supply chain, materials, or operations within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong understanding of inventory management, forecasting, and procurement
- Familiarity with quality standards and ISO environments
- Strong analytical skills with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
