Bell’s Little Learners is looking for a warm, friendly, and energetic Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year! This position would begin immediately so the right candidate can train and get comfortable in the classroom before September. Hours are 8:30-5:30, Monday through Friday.
We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with young children, can interact positively with them throughout the day, and is excited to be part of a fun, active classroom environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the lead teacher with daily classroom routines and activities
- Creating a positive, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
- Helping children with potty training throughout the school year
- Supervising children closely and actively participating in classroom activities
- Keeping up with daily parent communication and live updates through Procare
- Assisting with diapering/toileting, mealtime, nap, playground, and transitions throughout the day
- Helping keep the classroom clean, organized, and running smoothly
Requirements:
- Friendly, patient, and able to interact positively with young children all day
- Comfortable in a very active preschool classroom setting
- Able to sit on the floor, get up and down frequently, and stay active throughout the day
- Able to lift children up to 30 lbs as needed
- Comfortable assisting with potty training and other classroom care routines
- Must be dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
- Experience with Procare is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person if not already familiar with it

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
