A busy, growing interventional pain management practice is seeking an experienced, motivated, and leadership-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, is highly organized, compassionate with patients, and comfortable balancing both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Experience in interventional pain management is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient care and clinical flow
- Prepare patients for evaluations and procedures
- Support interventional pain procedures and understand procedural workflow
- Obtain vitals, histories, medication reconciliation, and documentation
- Assist with fluoroscopy/X-ray workflow and procedural room setup
- Coordinate prior authorizations, referrals, scheduling, and follow-up care
- Help oversee day-to-day office operations and team coordination
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance standards
- Provide excellent patient communication and customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (required)
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience in interventional pain management strongly preferred
- Familiarity with fluoroscopy/X-ray technician workflow is a major plus
- Strong administrative and multitasking skills
- Leadership experience or ability to help guide/support staff
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, high-efficiency practice environment
- EMR experience required
