Gregory’s Gourmet Desserts is a high-volume dessert company specializing in scratch-made cheesecakes, pies, cookies, and specialty desserts. We are growing rapidly and preparing to scale toward multi-location production across the Bay Area.
We are looking for a skilled baker along with an Assistant baker with strong production experience who wants to grow with a company that is expanding.
This role is ideal for someone who loves baking, works well within systems, and is excited about becoming part of a structured team environment.
There is potential for the right candidate to grow into Head Baker or Production Leadership as the company expands.
What This Role Is
This is a hands-on production baking role inside a busy dessert kitchen.
You will work within established recipes and production systems to ensure that products are consistent, efficient, and ready for daily retail and wholesale demand.
This is not a creative free-form baking position — it is a professional production role focused on consistency and teamwork.
Core Responsibilities
Daily production of desserts including:
- Cheesecakes
- Pies
- Cookies
- Bars and specialty desserts
Other responsibilities include:
- Following standardized recipes and production sheets
- Scaling ingredients accurately
- Maintaining high product consistency
- Preparing multiple batches efficiently during busy production days
- Supporting daily prep and cleaning routines
- Communicating with team members to keep production flowing
- Helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 3–7+ years of baking experience
- Has worked in high-volume bakery or restaurant kitchens
- Understands production baking and scaling recipes
- Works well within a structured system
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work
- Works well with a team and communicates clearly
- Takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality products
What This Role Is NOT
This role is not for someone who:
- Wants to constantly change recipes
- Prefers working alone without team coordination
- Struggles with production systems or standardized processes

Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience.
Schedule
Full-time/Part-time production schedule.
Typical production shifts may include:
Early morning baking shifts
Weekend availability required
