About the Role:
The Housekeeping Position is essential to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors. This role focuses on ensuring that all assigned areas are thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained to meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. Employees in this position will contribute directly to the overall satisfaction and well-being of those who live in or visit the community by providing consistent and reliable housekeeping services. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing cleaning needs. Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies and their safe usage.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a residential or hospitality environment.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills to interact respectfully with residents and staff.

Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if required.
Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all designated areas such as common spaces, hallways, restrooms, and resident rooms.

Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used properly and maintained in good working order.

Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the management team promptly.

Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a healthy environment and comply with regulatory standards.

Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels as needed.
