Position Summary
PUSH Healthcare Academy is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable RN Virtual Tutor to provide academic support to nursing students and healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping students understand challenging nursing concepts. The tutor will provide individualized and small-group virtual instruction designed to improve students' academic performance, clinical reasoning, confidence, and test-taking skills.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing/bedside experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of nursing fundamentals and clinical concepts
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Comfortable providing instruction through Zoom or another virtual platform
- Reliable internet connection and computer with camera/microphone
- Previous teaching, tutoring, precepting, or mentoring experience preferred
- NCLEX preparation experience is a plus
- Professional, dependable, and patient-centered

Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions
- Assess student learning needs
- Explain difficult nursing concepts in an understandable manner
- Provide practice questions and study strategies
- Assist students with test preparation
- Encourage critical thinking and clinical reasoning
- Provide constructive feedback
- Maintain professional boundaries and student confidentiality
- Document tutoring sessions and student progress as required
- Communicate professionally with PUSH Healthcare Academy staff
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Work Location: Remote
