Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. With 6 different food concepts The ideal candidate will have a passion for diverse food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, we are looking for candidates that can specialize in Pizza, BBQ, Smash burgers, mexican cusine, sandwich artist, Raw bar oyster shucking and our ramen and dumpling concept. You will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards and served promptly.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines in all aspects of food handling.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Experience
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus, particularly in understanding dietary restrictions and meal preparation for various dietary needs.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment are essential for success in this position.
- A background in culinary arts or related training is beneficial but not required; we value passion and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
