Nutrition Services Manager
Seeking qualified candidates for a Nutrition Services Manager to support and ensure full implementation of child nutrition services as required of the Head Start Performance Standards. Bachelor’s degree is required in Nutrition or other major study in institutional food management, nutrition, or dietetics. Applicant must have experience in time efficient kitchen operations and bulk ordering. Experience in menu development following the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines and Head Start experience preferred.
Applicants must have excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to work on a team. Applicants must be able to frequently move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time. Supervisory experience is required. Applicant must possess a Servsafe Certification and a Food Allergen Awareness Certification or willingness to complete upon hire. Applicants must have reliable transportation. The position is 40 hours per week/52 weeks /year, salary range $37.66-$39.50 w/excellent benefit package. Occasional evening hours required. The position will remain open until filled.
