Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, stripping, waxing, a to maintain optimal flooring appearance and longevity.
- Utilize specialized equipment for floor maintenance, ensuring surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to promote a secure work environment.
- Restock supplies and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently and thoroughly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or environmental services settings.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to various flooring types including tile, vinyl, and hardwood.
- Experience with floor care equipment such as buffers, polishers
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads as needed.
