Overnight Canine Care & Cleaning Attendant
PAWS of Greenwich is seeking a dependable, observant, and hardworking Overnight Canine Care & Cleaning Attendant to join our boutique canine club.
This is a cleaning-focused position. While you will be responsible for the safety and well-being of our boarding dogs overnight, the majority of each shift is dedicated to the deep cleaning, sanitizing, organization, and preparation of our facility for the following business day.
This is a physically active role best suited for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, follows detailed procedures, works independently, and maintains high standards without constant supervision.
This is not a seasonal position.
Training & Probation
Because this position is responsible for the care and safety of dogs overnight, all candidates are required to complete a structured training and probationary period before working independently, regardless of previous experience.
Candidates must be available to:
- Work a minimum of two daytime training shifts per week for approximately 1–2 months, depending on performance and readiness.
- Shadow an experienced Overnight Canine Care & Cleaning Attendant for one overnight shift per week until approved to work independently.
These training requirements are mandatory and cannot be waived. If you are unable to commit to this training schedule, please do not apply.
