We're excited to be growing our Dog Care team at Hearts and Paws! We're looking for motivated and positive individuals who have a soft spot for dogs. We are have been serving the Austin community for over 30 years and we're just as passionate about dogs and ever!
Job Overview: To assist in the care of the boarding and daycare of canines and in the maintenance and administration of the Boarding and Daycare Facility:
- Complete daily play/potty rotations, feeding, and medications
- Maintain the security of facility and play yards at all times
- Observe and pay attention to canines while they play
- Observe and create compatible play groups
- Insure the health and welfare of each companion
- Front office work
- Check dogs in and out for daycare
- Maintaining client files
- Updating client database
- Answer and/or direct client phone calls
- Cleaning of sleeping areas and floors, laundry and food dish washing
Qualifications:
- MUST LOVE WORKING WITH DOGS!
- Ability to work outside in yard with dogs for play rotations
- Worked at a dog care or veterinarian facility for a minimum of 6 months is preferred
- Have a good work ethic: Promptness, coachable, work well with others, and a positive attitude
- Willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays
- Checking dogs in for boarding and daycare
- Updating company database
- Part time position available
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
