Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient assessment and pediatric care , with the ability to handle various medical situations. This role requires a dedicated professional who is committed to enhancing the quality of life for patients through personalized care and support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual care needs.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient evaluations.
- Provide skilled nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist with medical procedures such as spinal taps and CT imaging as needed.
- Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and changes in condition.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices in home healthcare.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques.
- Ability to perform urgent care tasks effectively under pressure.
- Experience with neonatal ventilators is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
