We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Restaurant General Manager to oversee and manage all daily front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations. In this exempt role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the entire restaurant, driving success with a strong emphasis on team staffing, culinary excellence, top-tier customer service, and fiscal responsibility. This position requires a flexible schedule of a minimum of 45 hours per week, including availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with an ideal schedule of two days off per week.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Hires and trains restaurant staff for front and back of house.
· Organizes and oversees the staff schedules.
· Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
· Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy.
· Motivates, trains and engages the team.
· Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
· Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
· Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
· Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage law and regulations.
· Is responsible for meeting food and beverage budget and COGS goals.
· Is responsible for ensuring proper purchasing guidelines are followed.
· Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
· Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service.
· Collaborates with chefs to develop appetizing menu items.
· Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.
· Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the Director of Operations.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Serves as the companies and unit’s representative to employees, customers, the government, and the public.
· Performs other related duties to benefit the organization.
· Build strong working relationships with supervisor, co-workers and management by providing exemplary customer service.
· Correspond and interact with others in a professional and timely manner.
PERSONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Excellent managerial and financial skills and the ability to take leadership business operations.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
· Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate as a leader.
· Thorough understanding of management and financial practices in all areas and phases of business operations.
· Strong time-management and organizational skills.
· Attention to detail and self-review of work product.
· Proactively resolve problems when able, and otherwise offer potential solutions to issues.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Bachelor in Business Management preferred.
· Previous restaurant and management experience required.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, including excel and power point.
· Comfortable to present and speak in front of groups and leadership.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
