Position Overview
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and programming
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Troubleshoot machining issues and suggest process improvements
Qualifications
- 1+ years of CNC machining experience (or equivalent training)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Familiarity with common measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Dependable and punctual.
