Responsibilities
- Deal a variety of casino table games such as blackjack, craps, and other popular games with accuracy and confidence
- Enforce casino game rules and ensure fair play by adhering to established casino game integrity standards
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately, including chips exchange and payouts, while maintaining accountability
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with players professionally and creating a welcoming environment
- Monitor game flow, resolve conflicts effectively using conflict management skills, and address guest concerns promptly
- Maintain the proper use of table games accessories and ensure the cleanliness and organization of gaming areas
- Comply with all casino operations regulations, including regulatory compliance and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a casino dealer or in a similar role within a casino environment is preferred
- Strong understanding of casino game rules, especially for blackjack and craps, along with casino operations regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Demonstrated conflict management abilities to handle disputes professionally and efficiently
- Good mathematical aptitude and numeracy skills for accurate card dealing, cash handling, and calculations during gameplay
- Ability to stand for extended periods, remain alert, and maintain focus in a lively setting
- Knowledge of table games accessories and dealing procedures is advantageous
This is a temporary position. This is an entertainment company and not a real casino. You will not be dealing real money, only funny money. We will be doing 6-10 events per year, mostly on weekend evenings in and around Traverse City, MI. We pay $100.00 for a 3 hour party. This is a 1099 position.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
