American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment requiring neuro/spine case experience and an active DC RN license.

Hospital operating room setting
-
4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
-
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
-
Charting system: Cerner
-
Procedures include neuro/spine cases, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical), laparoscopic-assisted procedures, general OR scrub, Whipple procedure, and partial/total thyroidectomy

Blue scrubs provided
-
Active DC RN license required — must be in hand prior to consideration

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required

Neuro/spine case experience required

Experience with general OR scrub required

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate

First-time travelers with a minimum of 2 years of OR experience are welcome to apply

2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
