Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving drinks, taking orders, and cleaning workstations promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service environments with café experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient sales processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving accurate change, and balancing registers.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
