Job Summary
The Mechanic Assistant helps the mechanics with daily shop work, basic maintenance, and keeping the shop clean and organized. This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to learn about repairing and maintaining trucks, trailers, and equipment. No previous experience is required—we will train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Help mechanics with repairs and routine maintenance.
- Change oil, replace filters, grease equipment, and check fluid levels.
- Wash and clean trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Get tools, parts, and supplies for mechanics as needed.
- Put away tools and help keep parts organized.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Follow all safety rules and wear required safety equipment.
- Help with other shop duties as assigned.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
