Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Motorola Flex (Spillman Flex) Administrator and/or Trainer to manage, maintain, and optimize our customers public safety software suite. This flexible role can be filled as either Full-Time or Part-Time, depending on the candidate's availability and expertise. You will serve as the technical subject matter expert, ensuring system reliability while empowering our customers through targeted training. Prior experience working within a public safety agency is strictly required.
Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and configure Motorola Flex CAD, RMS, Jail, and IBR modules.
- User Training: Design and deliver training programs for dispatchers, officers, and administrative staff.
- Data & Analytics: Build and maintain public safety dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate updates, and manage user permissions.
- Server Maintenance: Oversee system environments hosted on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or similar distributions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Agency Experience: Minimum 2+ years of direct experience working within a public safety agency (Police, Sheriff, Fire, or Dispatch center) is mandatory.
- Software Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Motorola Flex (Spillman Flex) modules, specifically CAD, RMS, Jail, and IBR.
- Data Analytics: Proficiency with Power BI for public safety reporting and data visualization.
- Operating Systems: Strong technical knowledge of Red Hat Linux or other enterprise Linux distributions.
- Virtualization (Plus): Experience with virtual hosting environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is highly desirable.
Pay: From $37.50 per hour
