Overview
Seed is seeking experienced Senior Retail Associates to support daily dispensary operations and help maintain a smooth and welcoming customer experience.
This role serves as the first line of support for both customers and staff during daily operations, assisting with floor coordination, customer guidance, and real-time operational support.
Senior Retail Associates help ensure the sales floor runs smoothly by supporting fellow purveyors, answering operational questions, and escalating issues to the Assistant Manager when needed.
At times, this role may be assigned to support Inner-U operations and sales floor awareness when an Assistant Manager is not present.
This role focuses on customer experience, peer leadership, operational awareness, and product education while continuing to actively serve customers on the sales floor
Core Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Product Education
- Deliver exceptional customer service and product education.
- Guide guests through the dispensary and museum experience.
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs.
- Support purveyors during complex customer questions or product discussions.
- Address customer concerns when possible and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Sales Floor Coordination
- Help maintain smooth customer flow and floor organization.
- Assist in directing customers and staff during busy periods.
- Provide operational support to fellow purveyors throughout the shift.
- Monitor the sales floor for service gaps and assist when needed.
- Communicate operational issues to the Assistant Manager.
Peer Support & Coaching
- Act as a positive example for team members on the sales floor.
- Provide guidance to staff regarding POS usage, product handling, product knowledge and customer service.
- Help reinforce clean transaction processes and operational consistency.
- Address minor operational issues in real time and escalate larger concerns to management.
Inner-U & Operational Awareness
When assigned, Senior Retail Associates may support Inner-U operations by:
- Monitoring online order fulfillment flow
- Restocking and moving packages to the sales floor
- Supporting communication between floor staff and the Assistant Manager
- Helping maintain awareness of overall store activity
All significant operational decisions or escalations remain the responsibility of the Assistant Manager or leadership.
Operational Support
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as directed.
- Ensure POS stations remain organized and stocked.
- Support general housekeeping and store appearance.
- Assist with displays, merchandising, and marketing updates when requested.
- Support inventory handling and product movement when needed.
- Assist with accessory restocking and marketing initiatives
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
- 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience preferred
- Leadership or peer-mentorship experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service mindset
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Cannabis knowledge preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and move throughout the retail environment

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
