Samcort Inc. is currently seeking full and part time drivers who are looking to join our team. Samcort Inc is a contracted service provider for FedEx ground and runs routes in the Seekonk and East Providence area. If you are motivated, punctual and professional this is the job for you. Company operates 7 days a week and must be able to work a weekend rotation.
Qualifications;
-Must be 21 years of age-1 year commercial driving experience in the last 3 years is required or 3 years in the last 5 years.Prior driving employment will be verified cdl not required.
-Pass background check
-Pass motor vehicle record
-Pass drug test and physical
- Pass road test
- Weekend Availability is a plus.
Delivery Driver Responsibility;
-Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions.
-Handling and timely delivery and pickup of packages to businesses and residential areas on their route.
-Proper usage of handheld device to record all activity for the day.
-Maintain security of all packages and equipment on a daily basis.
-Ability of lifting up to 150lbs(handtruck supplied),of bending,carring and loading/unloading of packages
Pay from $750.00 to $1400.00 depending on Routes/ days worked.
Paid holidays after 90 days
Paid vacation after 1 year

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 50.0 per week
