Responsibilities (not an inclusive list):
- Prepare for patient appointments; chart prep, gathering supplies, etc.
- Assist our Providers during exams and procedures.
- Remove sutures and staples, dress wounds and incisions.
- Order labs, testing, imaging, etc.
- Casting
- Answer patient phone calls, relaying information to their Provider, notify patient of outcomes, etc.
- Complete disability forms, medical leave paperwork, and prepare work releases.
- Sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Clean exam rooms and prepare for next patient.
- Data entry into our EHR
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications: Must have or have the ability to...
- 1 -year minimum clinical experience
- Medical Assistant Certification
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Multi -tasking
- Work with computer programs (Microsoft Office, NextGen -EHR, etc.)
- Attention to detail for accuracy
- Communicate collaboratively and positively
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
