Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced sports bar environment. As a Server, you will play an important role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the pos system TOAST
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through regular bussing and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food is getting made in a timely manner
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly bar and grill setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food handling practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
