We are currently seeking a Life Enhancement Associate who will be scheduled to work full time with rotating Sundays.
PRINCIPLE FUNCTION: The Recreation/Life Enhancement Associate coordinates all successful programs and activities for the community and members. This includes both internal and external programming focused on overall member well-being and engagement.
Essential Job Functions
Ø Maintain a professional manner, attitude, and dress at all times. Specifically maintaining a friendly and collaborative demeanor with peers, board members, applicants, guests, residents, and others.
Ø Communicates all information to interested parties, including inter-office, guests, vendors, or others. Must be able to maintain a discreet manner and approach with sensitive or confidential information.
Ø Accurately maintain all resident information while complying with confidentiality as per Gurwin Policy.
Ø Independently able to self-initiate job duties and functions while responding to immediate needs for the benefit of the community or members.
Ø Demonstrates high-level attention to detail with work completed, immediate workspace, and overall community presentation within their control.
Ø Promotes teamwork amongst all supervisory and peer team members while being a positive working environment culture leader.
Ø Facilitates life enhancing programs based on membership needs, requests and the schedule of such programs as directed by the Lead Life Enhancement Associate.
Ø Participates in all activities and programs being offered from the Sales and Marketing team as directed.
Ø Manages all community space access with the Lead Life Enhancement Associate to ensure proper use and accessibility.
Ø Maintains all equipment and supplies needed while communicating defects immediately to the Lead Life Enhancement Associate/Environmental Engineering department.
Ø Manages/Facilitates all programs in the Fitness Center, Pool, Holistic Center, Art Studio, and other community areas.
Ø Able to manage multiple requests and tasks at a time with varying needs.
Ø Performs all other duties as requested or required by the Administration team.
Educational Requirements/Qualifications
Ø High School graduate or equivalent. Ability to understand and follow instructions while demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
Ø Recreational/Activities experience in related field preferred.
Ø Must be able to work varying hours and flexible to community needs.

Ø Confidential Information
Constant contact with residents, guests, peers, and others requires the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally. Must maintain a positive and productive, courteous, and cooperative manner at all times.
Will be exposed to highly confidential information, demonstrate confidentiality, and only disclose with the Lead Life Enhancement Associate or others specifically directed by the Executive Director. Able to follow directives from Administration team without close supervision.
Ø Safety
Requires ability to read, understand and follow community emergency procedures and all other safety rules, community policies, and regulations.
Ø Equipment
Must operate various levels of equipment and supplies.
Ø Working Conditions
Clean, well-lighted residential and office environment. Varying levels of noise, activity, and possible interruption. May have exposure to odors, fumes, dust, and chemicals.
Physical Requirements
Ø Must be able to walk/stand for long periods, up to 90% of work time.
Ø Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Ø Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ø Must be able to stand for varying durations.
Ø Must be able to twist, bend, and walk to maintain walkways and surrounding workspace.
Must be able to set up and break down rooms for events, functions, meetings, or other programs
